There is no stopping Bituin from shining brightly in the theater industry.

Her beauty is beyond compare. All hail the queen!
Her beauty is beyond compare. All hail the queen!

Once again, Bituin reigned magnanimously as she played the wicked Queen in the childhood favorite and classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs after playing the lead Mely, in Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady.

Repertory Philippines and the city of Makati brings back the best children’s show in town—Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs written by Elsa Rael with music by Michael Valenti and directed by Joy Virata.

The play tells the story of a beautiful girl, Snow White, who escapes from her devious stepmother played by the power belter and diva Bituin Escalante. Snow White takes refuge in the forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother after being led there by the Queen’s huntsman. The Queen is so jealous and that she wants to be known as “the fairest in the land,” and Snow White’s beauty surpasses her own. She then plans to kill Snow White but she failed as a Prince awakens the poisoned Snow White with a sweet kiss.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will run from August 15 to December 10 at the Onstage Theater in Greenbelt 1.
